It's been a long 15 years since Hagafen has produced a Zinfandel, but it is back and better than ever! This stunning sipper hails from the hills of Sonoma's Alexander Valley, from a small vineyard owned by Ernie's eldest daughter's in-laws.

Giving off fresh aromas of bright cherry, the nose prepares you for the rush of flavors to come. On the palate is a superb blend of subtle strawberry and raspberry, met with the familiar notes of tart cherry found on the nose. Soft and silky tannins work in concert with light notes of anise on the finish, giving this lower alcohol Zinfandel the ability to be one of the most food friendly wines released, especially with barbecued or roasted meats! This is a wine you will most definitely want to have on hand for any day of the week!
